BOHEMIAN WRAPSODY

Were looking forward to experimenting a golden night at Diane Von Furstenberg’s show, but the glamorous and shiny confetti ending was really out of this world. We still get goosies when we think of it.

Truth is one doesn’t happen to celebrate the 40th anniversary of a signature piece every year! And Diane’s iconic frock, the wrap-dress that has become a key part of every contemporary woman’s wardrobe since 1974, was of course there hitting the runway.

Women’s attitude was utterly cheerful, as in every other DVF show. We clearly picture Diane screaming to her models backstage at one of her shows back in 2012. “The most important thing is that you are yourselves, and you think of the woman you wanna be, and you just have fun and look beautiful”, she would say. Because. Why not?

No surprise: huge smiles and tons of confidence filled up the place, as well as a visible nostalgic feeling. Guess what the collection was called? Bohemian Wrapsody – yes, it makes us wink too.
