7 THINGS WE’RE LOVING RIGHT NOW

This has been a week of very important happenings! With quite a few awards in the air, some major fashion shows and striking news, we have decided to prepare a small digest to highlight what's been up out there. Check it out and do share your key moments too!

1. The lucky vibe

Two days have passed since the contagiously lucky feeling took over the entire venue at the Grammys. Daft Punk, Pharrell and Stevie Wonder (himself!) showed a vibrant display of the unforgettable summer song everyone seemed to have as a ringtone. Check out the ecstatic audience: you’ll see some fierce Beyonce going all crazy!

2. From Couture to Katy

Valentino got us singing with its very impressive Haute Couture collection dedicated to the tradition of Opera. No wonder why Katy Perry was wearing that iconic score-embroidered tulle gown at the Grammys. Guess what Opera score is that? La Traviata, by Giuseppe Verdi!

3. The power shout

Our fashion editors were sitting in the first rows at Anne Gorke’s show during Berlin Fashion Week, and there was only one thing you could hear them screaming right after the show: YO MADAME! Feels like there will be some serious girl empowerment coming up for Fall Winter... yo!

4. Fannypack is back

Oh. Yes. We knew this was coming sooner or later. And even though it had to be brought by Karl Lagerfeld during Chanel SS14 Haute Couture show in Paris, we still believe there’s room for making it look down-to-earth appropriate before it hits the streets for good. Now au revoir, we are heading to the second-hand shop to get ours in the meantime.

5. Fancy in the snow

Hard task for us to remain fancy when snow keeps falling down, huh?! This is why we are loving rubber soles that allow us to walk up and down the streets without risking our knees and ankles. Plus, we've checked out all street style shots from the latest fashion happenings and this is a key shape that you should start considering ASAP! These US Polo Assn are our target this week, but a cool pair of Chelseas from Dr. Martens would do too.

6. Zooey, you just can’t get any cuter

Dear Zooey: we love your always perfectly shaped bangs, your cardigan-over-cardigan looks and your truly awesome talent to sing, write, perform and become brand ambassador of whatever interesting happening in the world. Meanwhile, Zooey, please allow us to book the entire capsule collection you are preparing for Tommy Hilfiger. We just can’t wait to see (ehem, shop) it entirely.

7. Nordic colors make our heart go wow

It’s Stockholm Fashion Week, y’all, and we’re delighted to find vibrant hues in the FW14 runways. The lack of color is merely a false accusation to Scandinavian fashion as a whole. Perhaps Scandinavian designers have abused the minimalistic black-white-gray concept for a while. But when those guys make colorful things we just feel hopelessly devoted to them! Here come two looks from Carin Wester FW14 during the Mercedes-Benz Stockholm Fashion Week.
